What should an AI character do in a livestream video?
Give the character a format viewers already know from real streams, such as a storytime, tutorial, room tour, taste test or dance, then make one thing go wrong before the end. The opening line names the format, each beat has one action and one line, and the last beat is a turn.
Formats that work
| Format | Idea | The turn |
|---|---|---|
| Storytime | Reads her hate mail live at breakfast | One letter starts screaming; the last note is kind and she melts |
| Tutorial | A love potion tutorial, beauty-guru style | The steam gives away who she likes |
| Room tour | Shows her viewers her room | Something on the shelf moves on its own |
| Taste test | Tries a mystery sweet on stream | Instant regret, then she takes another |
| Get ready with me | Starts a makeup routine | Her friend photobombs and steals the brush |
| Dance | Dances to a song on a rooftop at dusk | The wind wrecks her hair; she insists it was intentional |
| Rating things | Rates her friends' outfits out of ten | A friend overhears the score |
| Q and A | Answers one rude question from chat | She answers a second one she should not have |
The first, second and sixth are videos we published: hate mail, love potion and look up. More full prompts are in the prompt library.
How many beats fit
- 5 seconds: one beat. A single action and a single line, like a reaction shot.
- 10 seconds: two beats. Setup, then the turn.
- 15 seconds: two or three beats. Opening line, the action, the turn.
- 30 seconds: about five beats, each with its own sound effect so a fixed camera never feels static. Our hate mail clip used an owl, paper, a flame, a shriek and confetti.
Give each beat a time range in the prompt (0-4s, 4-9s). In our renders, video models followed timed beats far better than a paragraph.
Opening lines
The first line should tell the viewer what they are watching, in the character's voice. Short, confident, slightly absurd.
- "Reading my hate mail. Live."
- "Love potion tutorial. For when he's too stupid to notice you."
- "Room tour, because you keep asking."
- "Rating your outfits. Be brave."
- "Okay, chat, one question. One."
How to end it
End on a turn, not a sign-off. The last beat is what people comment on and the reason they rewatch. Three endings that worked for us:
- The character flips. The snob softens at a kind note.
- She gets caught. A door creaks and the dancers turn into angels with books.
- Physics wins. The wind blows her hair across her face mid-pose, and she says it was on purpose.
Avoid ending on "bye guys" or a call to follow; the clip loops better if the last frame is a reaction. And keep it fiction: a livestream look is fine for an invented character, but do not stage fake news or real people. TikTok does not allow AI content showing fake crisis events or falsely showing public figures endorsing something, even when labelled[1]. For the full method, see our AI livestream video guide.
Where Cast fits
- Turning any idea in the table into a clip: type it as one line, pick the Selfie / Live camera and a vibe such as Comedy.
- Group ideas (photobombs, outfit ratings) with up to 3 characters, for example the free Malfoid & Friends pack (Malfoid, Thea and Odette).
- Trying one free: the first 5-second video needs no sign-up.
Where it does not:
- Five-beat, 30-second single takes: Cast clips are 5, 10 and 15 seconds.
- Using your own song as the soundtrack: Cast does not take audio uploads.
- Real-time streams that answer actual chat.

- How many beats fit in 15 seconds?
- Two or three: an opening line, one action, and a turn. Thirty seconds holds about five.
- What is a good opening line?
- One that names the format in the character's voice, under five words if you can: "Reading my hate mail. Live."
- How do I end an AI livestream video?
- On a reaction, not a goodbye: she gets caught, changes her mind, or something physical goes wrong. That last beat drives comments and rewatches.
