Can you monetize AI-generated videos on TikTok?

Possibly, but TikTok does not say so explicitly: its Creator Rewards Program page does not mention AI-generated content at all, and requires content that is original and produced entirely by you[1]. Before AI is even a question, you need 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days and videos at least one minute long[1].

The Creator Rewards requirements

TikTok's help page for the Creator Rewards Program sets these conditions:

TikTok Creator Rewards Program eligibility, as of 2026-10-18[1]
RequirementDetailSource
Age18 or older (19 in South Korea)[1]
AudienceAt least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days[1]
Video lengthAt least one minute[1]
Account typePersonal accounts only; not Business, political or government accounts[1]
LocationA country where the programme is available (the page does not list them)[1]
Earning startsAfter 1,000 qualified For You feed views; views under 5 seconds do not count[1]
OriginalityOriginal content produced entirely by you; videos made only of looping clips, photos or text overlays do not count[1]

Check the country list in the app under TikTok Studio, because the help page does not publish it and third-party lists disagree.

Where AI videos stand

The Creator Rewards page does not say AI content is eligible or ineligible[1]. We could not find an official yes or no anywhere as of 2026-10-18, so anyone who promises you either answer is guessing. What the rules make clear is what will not pay: material that is not yours, and low-effort formats such as looping clips, photo slideshows and text over images[1]. TikTok's Community Guidelines also make unoriginal or reused material ineligible for the For You feed[2], which is where qualified views come from.

An original AI character in a scripted story you wrote is the strongest case: it is your concept, your script and your edit. Label it if it looks realistic, which TikTok requires[3]; unlabelled realistic AI content may be removed or restricted[2].

The one-minute problem for AI video

Most AI video models render short clips. Seedance 2.0, for example, outputs 4 to 15 seconds per clip[4]. A one-minute video therefore means chaining four or more clips, each started from the last frame of the one before, and keeping the character consistent across all of them. In our measured Atlas Cloud prices, four 15-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clips at 720p cost four times $0.87, and a minute of Seedance 2.5 at 1080p cost twice $17.77, before any retakes. See How to make AI videos longer for the chaining method.

Other ways AI accounts earn on TikTok

Creator Rewards is not the only route. Brand deals, affiliate links and selling your own product do not depend on the programme, but they come with disclosure rules of their own; see Can AI influencers get brand deals?. For Creator Rewards, 10,000 followers plus 100,000 views in the last 30 days[1].
