- Cast is a mobile-first card game for short AI dramas, made by Katechon. Flip cards, watch episodes, and choose the next story beat from your hand. It works in phone browsers, including TikTok and Instagram.
- Is Cast free?
- Your first two cards and their cached episodes are free, with no sign-up. The first card is guaranteed Rare. More packs start at $0.99 for one card. There are no signup credits for live video generation.
- How much does a pack cost?
- 1 card for $0.99; 8 cards for $4.99; 18 cards for $9.99. An eight-card pack guarantees at least one Rare, and an eighteen-card pack guarantees at least one Epic. Packs are one-time purchases.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your first tap creates a guest account, so it works inside TikTok and Instagram. From a regular browser you can also sign in with Google to keep your progress.
- Who are Malfoid, Leo, Thea, Odette?
- They are the characters in Malfoid & Friends: the snobbiest girl at boarding school, her two best friends and her rival. Each story card names its cast.
- Do I have to write a prompt?
- No. Your cards are the choices. Tap a card at a cliffhanger to play the next episode.
- How long is an episode?
- An episode has four five-second shots, about twenty seconds in total.
- Who can see my branches?
- Card branches are public and have shareable episode pages. Other players can play the same branch from the same cliffhanger. Existing private videos made through the agent route remain private unless shared.
- What happens if filming fails?
- The engine retries a failed shot with a fallback model. If it still fails, your card returns to your hand and no branch is published.
- How do I earn free cards?
- The first time a different player plays one of your branches, you earn one card. Rewards are capped at five cards per creator per day.
- Which AI models does Cast use?
- New story shots use MiniMax H3 Max Turbo, with ByteDance Seedance as the fallback. The opening episodes are already rendered. All inference runs through Atlas Cloud.
- How do I pay?
- Through Stripe Checkout, in US dollars. After checkout, your pack opens and you return to the same cliffhanger.
